MISSION MONDE curriculum includes  Student Workbooks, Teacher's Manual, CD and

Each grade level of MISSION MONDE has a theme:

MM1: Regnault Family in France (missionaries)

MM2: Regnault Family and some French History  

MM3: Marley Family in Burundi (missionaries)

MM4: Burundi

MM5: Boarding School Life

MM6: Quebec and an inner city outreach

STUDENT WORKBOOK

         The students will be able to see pictures of students their own age and read stories about their experiences overseas.   Cross-cultural tidbits as well as historical facts will be shared through out the curriculum and all along the students will be challenged to integrate their Christian Faith in a variety of settings. 

  They will learn how to pray in French and memorize Bible verses. This is not just a language class; this is a springboard to the mission field!  

Watch as your students develop a renewed interest in French, Missions and the Great Commission!  

TEACHERS MANUAL

(HAS 5 SECTIONS)

Section I

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT:

This includes helpful forms, tests and answer key.

Section II

LESSON PLANS:

At the end of each unit (5 in each level), there is a box with the overview of the subject matter covered in that unit which is a requirement in the Ontario guide for F.S.L.  The teachers can use this as a tool to check how their students are doing in those areas. Teachers can easily include other corresponding activities or other materials in each area.

The CD Track # is included in both the Student Workbook and the Lesson Plans for easy reference.

At the top of each Lesson Plan page, there is a code bar with the Level - Unit- Lesson.  These are very helpful for a teacher teaching more then one grade of French. 

Section III

Extra Worksheets: 

Each Worksheet has a code and number (MM2 #3).   When teachers are photocopying more then one Level of Worksheets, they will be able to keep track of which master goes back into what Teacher's Manual and what class it is for.

Section IV

Teacher’s Aides:

This section includes reproducible Bingo Games, pronoun flashcards, French/ English verb flashcards, and phonetic flashcards to be used in the curriculum for review purposes (and for fun too!)

Section V

Teacher’s Answer Key:

The teachers have their own answer key workbook with a few extra teaching tips here and there!  

Flashcards for Mission Monde  

The Flashcards are 8 1/2" by 11", double sided for practice and drilling.

CD Audio Recording

The MISSION MONDE CD offers the teacher who might not be confident with their French accent to teach their students to speak with a proper French accent.  The French on the CD is Parisian French.  If students learn Parisian French, they will be understood in any French speaking country.
